Balsamic Vinaigrette
A great salad dressing can make eating salads a delicious experience.

This dressing is simple and you can change the ingredients to suit your taste.
My best advice to you is to use high quality ingredients, particularly the balsamic vinegar.
We add a few extras to the mix, which we think work magic with the basic dressing.
You can whisk all of the ingredients or take the easier option of placing all the ingredients in a screw-top jar and shake to combine. Taste and adjust the seasonings.
Toss a few tablespoons of the dressing with the salad mix and desired salad ingredients, top with blue cheese and serve immediately.
If not using dressing right away, cover and refrigerate, whisking or shaking again before use.
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
half a chopped garlic
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3/4 cup virgin olive oil
Extras:Dried herbs -
5 mix-peppers
Chilli flakes
Rosemary
Basil
Parsley
Oregano
& some sweet pepper powder if you like!
Olive oils are equally good health-wise, whether they're extra, super-dooper virgin, or the cheaper stuff. The difference is in the taste. I'd recommend using the best olive oil for salads or eating raw, and use the cheaper oil for cooking where you don't really taste the difference.
